" . . . . . The Bryans won more than a half dozen USTA national doubles titles during their storied junior careers. In May, as Stanford University sophomores, they helped their undefeated squad win its fourth consecutive NCAA Division I men’s tennis championship. Bob won the triple crown fo college tennis, also capturing the singles crown and teaming with Mike the take the doubles title."

"After turning pro in June, the Bryans won the doubles titles at three USTA Challenger and Satellite events, while Bob won two of the singles tournaments. They reached the semifinals at the ATP Tour’s Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington D.C., where they joined Stanford sophomore-to-be Chelsea Clinton for a Sunday brunch at the White House. The following day, while father Wayne, a former topnotch player in college and in men’s open USTA Southern California Section tournaments, napped off his jet lag and mother Kathy, a former Wimbledon doubles semifinalist, prepared chili for lunch, the boys held court with Tennis USTA....."
