CLINICS AND CHARITY EXHIBTIONS FOR THE BRYAN BROS. IN DECEMBER

After a very successful year long season on the Pro Tennis Tour that saw their doubles ranking rise from #21 all the way up to #7, the Bryan Brothers will stay busy. They have lots of junior clinics and charity exhibition lined up in California during their "off month" of December.

On Friday, Dec. 1 they will do a clinic for the Mark Weil Tennis Academy in Ojai, and on the following day they will journey to Palm Springs to do an exhibition and clinic, along with Todd Martin and Jose Higueras and 45 local teaching pros, for 800 youngsters. The event will held at the beautiful Tennis Garden at Indian Wells, the site of the Masters Series Tournament in march.

On Wednesday, Dec. 5, they will fly to Sacramento to play in the "Elton John-Billie Jean King All Star Smash Hits" benefiting the EJ Aids Foundation. Held at the Arco Arena, the Bryan twins will join Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Brian McPhie, Meghann Shaughnessy, Marissa Irvin, Alexandra Stevenson, and Katie Schlukebir in a World Team Tennis Format. Elton John will play an exhibition with famed guitarist Carlos Santana. The event is expected to raise over $500,000 for the Foundation.

The Bryan Brothers Band will play in the Arena the hour before the tennis starts. Band members, besides Mike and Bob, include their Dad Wayne, John McCampbell, Andy Di, Jimmy Wolff, SayJay Johnson Colwell, and Jennifer Kuhle.

On Saturday, Dec. 8, the twins will do a junior clinic and exhibition at the Tennis Club of Santa Barbara to benefit Marty Davis’ UCSB Tennis Team. The event will be headed up by TCSB Tennis Director and Pro Larry Mousouris. In each of the last two years the event has raised over $10,000 for the Gaucho Teams

On Sunday, Dec. 9, the Bryans will wrap up their month of special events by playing an Exhibition at the Spanish Hills Country Club. The event, headed up by Dave McKinney is raising over $12,000 for WECANN, for abused and neglected children. In the celebrity Match the Bros. will play Movie and TV Stars, Matthew Perry and Jon Lovitz. In the Pro Match they will take on their doubles idol Rick Leach and former UCI #1 player Man Song Hing.
